• Accounts Payable Manager

  • The AP Manager will play a key role in supporting the accounts payable process. In this role the candidate is responsible for managing staff,

    processes and addressing stakeholder concerns regarding invoice processing, employee expenses and other payment requests.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and manage invoice processing including queues, clear duplicate listings, and produce daily invoice reports

    • Manage procurement card program and operations

    • Execute stop payments, clearing exceptions, and tracking petty cash checks

    • Post batches and daily check run processes; support month-end close and year-end audit

    • Produce weekly AP reporting metrics

    • Lead the remediation of vendor issues

    • Process improvement and special projects

    • Develop and sustain strong customer service relationships with other divisions and Strategic Purchasing

    • Partner with and support the operations of the company

    • Assist with periodic expense audits or research, and other unscheduled projects as they arise

    • Manage and lead a high performing team

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree with analytical experience

    • Supervision and managerial experience

    • Experience with full cycle AP including knowledge of electronic scanning and imaging and setup and maintenance of vendor master data is beneficial

    • Experience with procurement card administration and operations

    • Solid leadership skills with demonstrated ability to identify process issues and address before they become problems

    • Proficiency in Oracle and SAP a plus; experience working with general and sub ledgers

    • Attention to detail and pride in data accuracy

    • Excellent track record of customer service; willing to go above and beyond; problem-solver

    • Possess a 'roll up your sleeves' attitude

    • Solid Microsoft Excel skills and an aptitude to learn multiple systems
