Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

We are working with a client that is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable function, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

• Review and verify invoices and purchase orders for proper documentation and approval

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

• Prepare and process electronic payments

• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies

• Assist with month-end close procedures

• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files

• Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
