95% of the day will be related to Accounts Receivable duties
Posting cash, checks and credit payments
Wire transfers and linking customer accounts and invoices
Walk around building collecting cash from departments, running credit cards, and running to the bank once a week
Accounts Receivable reconciliation
Research and clean-up of unapplied cash on accounts
Other general accounting duties as determined
5% of the time will be supporting the Front Desk, and providing coverage for Front Desk phone support
Receive phone calls from customers regarding service/sales
Communicate with customers, supervisors, and other office personnel in an effective and timely manner and problem solving
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of recent Accounts Receivable experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel experience)
Good job tenure in past positions
High attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Accounts Receivable experience
