Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description

This dynamic team is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to join their growing company. You might be a good fit for this position if you can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. How you will make an impact

• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts

• Research customer accounts using company records and resources that are made available

• Conduct custom collections campaigns on each client that consist of emails, phone calls, and standard mail correspondence

• Performs various general ledger account reconciliations

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Receivable Clerk candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.

Other requirements for the Accounts Receivable Clerk position include and are not limited to

• 2 years' experience in an accounting

• Strong computer skills (MS Word and Excel)

• Experience with MFG Pro or similar ERP system preferred

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Knowledge of efficient office procedures and practices
