Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Orlando, Florida. Working within the manufacturing industry, you will be instrumental in maintaining customer credit accounts and processing customer credit applications. This role is crucial to our financial operations and requires someone with strong skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), MS Excel, Daily Receipts, Cash Deposits, and Check Deposit.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processing customer credit applications and ensuring efficiency

• Maintaining detailed and accurate customer credit records

• Resolving inquiries related to customer credit

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect overdue payments

• Applying prepayments to invoices and monitoring customer accounts

• Communicating with customers in case of payment discrepancies

• Answering customer inquiries related to accounts receivable

• Maintaining accurate customer information by ensuring that all updates are completed or communicated to the person responsible for making the update

• Processing credit card payments via our ERP system per customer requests

• Researching and resolving discrepancies between payments received and amount invoiced

• Monitoring customer accounts for late payments or other irregularities and immediately informing management of issues that are discovered. Requirements - Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a prerequisite for this role

• Proficient use of MS Excel is necessary for tasks such as data entry and financial reporting

• Daily Receipts: The candidate must be skilled in managing and recording daily monetary transactions

• Cash Deposits: Applicants should have experience in handling cash deposits, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded

• Check Deposit: Experience in processing check deposits, including verification and documentation, is required
