Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description

We are inviting applications for an Accounts Receivable Clerk based in Urbana, Ohio, United States. This role is within a contract to hire employment opportunity and it focuses on the management of credit applications, customer credit records, and delinquent payments. The successful candidate will be part of a team working in a telecom provider industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update customer credit records with high attention to detail

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions for delinquent payments

• Handle account reconciliation tasks efficiently

• Execute billing processes according to company standards

• Perform cash applications and cash collections tasks

• Use commercial collections methods in line with industry practices

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing processes

• Competency in Cash Applications

• Knowledge of Commercial Collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

• High level of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Understanding of financial and accounting principles

• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
