Supports the Clinical Simulation and Learning Center by providing clerical support focused on scheduling, maintaining educational records, and assistance to faculty and students within the college as well as partners and stakeholders within the healthcare community. Provides coverage for the CSLC as the main desk receptionist.
Duties
Serves as front desk receptionist, and oversees the front desk and main lobby, receiving and directing all visitors and callers to the College in a welcoming, professional, accurate and timely manner.
Develop and maintain, in collaboration with the Dean and Technical Coordinator, the official calendar for the Clinical Simulation & Learning Center.
Schedules and organize meetings for the Clinical Simulation & Learning Center and related groups.
Coordinates logistics for training sessions or events.
Support equipment maintenance inventory control process.
Perform data collection and prepare reporting as needed to support ongoing evaluation of institutional effectiveness, accreditation readiness, or utilization.
Assist in the development of information for web site posting and coordinate with the webmaster for timely updates.
Support Dean, Program Leaders and faculty in the development and production of materials, presentations, or information related to activities of the Clinical Simulation & Learning Center.
Supports the Dean in preparation of progress reports.
Education/Experience
Required Education-HS Diploma or GED
Preferred Education-Associates
1-2 years of previous professional experience in general clerical and/or data entry processing.
Experience in managing multiple tasks in an unhurried and effective manner within a fast-paced environment.
Computer and general office equipment knowledge and experience required, with skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access software.
Experience in receptionist duties preferred
Demonstrated satisfactory related prior work experience required
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
