    Job Description

    The Administrative Assistant provides routine office support in a variety of functions to an individual, team, or another group within the firm according to established guidelines. The Administrative Assistant responds to or routes inquiries from external or internal sources with standard correspondence; collects, reviews, and updates data; retrieves company records as requested; and prepares records for archiving. Other responsibilities may include greeting visitors, maintaining visitor logs, answering phone calls, and scheduling and organizing meetings, travel, and other activities.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Organizes information and/or materials through various administrative activities such as filing, making copies, and binding documents according to the firm's standards.

    • Communicates and meets deadlines for timely completion of administrative tasks.

    • Assists in scheduling and coordinating meetings.

    • Assists in preparing materials for internal and external use.

    • Responds to and routes inquiries from internal and external sources with standard correspondence and documentation.

    • Assists in collecting, reviewing, and updating data to ensure accurate recordkeeping.

    • Runs errands related to administrative needs.

    • May maintain information systems such as project files, contact lists, and team schedules.

    • Will answer reception calls and prepare letters and packages for mailing and delivery services as needed.

    • Associate degree in business or a related area or some college preferred

    • Solid verbal and written communication skills

    • Exhibits good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
