    Responsibilities :

    • To work as an Administrative Coordinator and Compliance Assistant supporting the Chief Compliance Officer and other senior members of the Legal and Compliance Department

    • Answer, screen and route a high volume of phone calls for multiple members of the department; communicate accurate and detailed messages as needed

    • Assist and perform various compliance related responsibilities, including, but not limited to, conducting due diligence and reviewing various surveillance reports

    • Type, edit and prepare correspondence

    • Organize litigation and other legal files

    • Perform general administrative duties: copying, faxing, filing, scanning, binding presentations, expense reports, billing/invoicing, supply orders, sorting and distributing mail

    • Maintain multiple calendars, including scheduling meetings, coordinating conference rooms, and greeting visitors

    • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flight, hotel and ground

    • Basic compliance responsibilities, including, potentially, surveillance activities

    Qualifications :

    • College degree and minimum of one year administrative experience preferred (knowledge/ experience of financial institutions is a plus)

    • Desire and drive to learn the business and contribute to team and organization goals

    • Excellent communication skills, including phone manner, with an emphasis on strong client service and ability to communicate effectively with senior management

    • Superior organizational skills

    • Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision

    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

    • Ability to exercise discretion when managing confidential information

    • Positive attitude, high energy, enthusiastic and detail oriented

    • Proactive in anticipating issues and following through on resolving them

    • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

    Compensation Details

    The salary range for this role is $65,000-$80,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
