AR Collections Specialist

Description

Robert Half has partnered with a stable manufacturing company on their search for an A/R Collections Specialist with excellent communication skills. In this role you will handle customer payment discrepancies, process cash receipts, place collection calls, track customer credit worthiness, prepare invoices, and perform credit checks. The successful A/R Collections Specialist will also manage credit risk, maintain customer accounts, and assist with billing. What you get to do daily

• Manage credit and collection functions

• Prepare customer invoices electronically

• Document daily cash receipts

• Review purchase orders

• Analyze, and review customer credit worthiness

• Identify delinquent accounts

• Ensure proper documents and agreements are on file

• Perform payment reconciliations

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies

• Develop and schedule payment plans

Requirements

The ideal A/R Collections Specialist will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

Other requirements for the A/R Collections Specialist role include and are not limited to:

• 2+ years of A/R experience including collections

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Intermediate

• Any ERP experience a plus

• Excellent negotiation skills

• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
