AR Coordinator

Description There's an exciting opportunity available with Robert Half for an experienced Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to join a growing organization. In this position, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. This is a short-term contract / temporary to hire Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Richardson, Texas area.

• Corroborate documents and codes

• Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. written correspondence, phone contact, skip-tracing, and making arrangements for payment

• Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

• Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization

• Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders

• Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAP

• Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

• Assist in setting up payment plans; contact clients to help resolve payment issues Requirements - 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

• Experience with ERP systems

• Wide ranging experience with skip tracing credit

• Proven knowledge of Credit Card Reconciliation

• Previous experience working with credit collections

• Foundational knowledge in Credit Card Payments

• Skills in credit analysis

• Experience with credit approvals

• Microsoft Excel experience

• Prior experience with Credit Balance

• Hands-on experience with Credit Authority

• Experience with Credit Card Receipts

• Well-founded grasp of Corporate Credit

• Solid understanding of Credit Card Deposits

• Comprehension of Credit Application

• Expertise in Credit Card Fraud

• Deep understanding of Credit Card Industry

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Earlier work involving consumer credit

• General familiarity with Credit Decision

• Well-founded grasp of Credit Cards

• Proven knowledge of Consumer Credit

• Solid understanding of Credit Card Charges

• Practical knowledge of Credit Department

• Expertise in commercial collections

• Quality experience with Credit Administration

• Practical knowledge of credit

• Company Credit Card experience

• General familiarity with Corporate Credit Card

• Approve Credit experience preferred

• Good understanding of commercial credit

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

• Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
