  • The Transfer Agent Management and Support team maintains a service-oriented operational support structure for JPMorgan Funds and acts as a liaison with the Fund's transfer agent, SS&C Global Investor & Distribution Solutions, Inc. Primary responsibilities include establishing and maintaining mutual fund setup on the transfer agent's system, regulatory statement and tax form mailings, support electronic client portal access, and support industry initiatives. The team proactively looks for opportunities to improve quality, service, efficiency and consistency of procedures and processes across the organization.

    Job Summary

    As a Project Manager within the Transfer Agent Management and Support team you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team taking on new projects and issues as they arise. You will have the opportunity to effectively run meetings across varying audiences and manage deliverables and deadlines in a timely manner. As a member of the team you will be responsible for executing key deliverables within the strategic business agenda across the business. You will interact with Senior Management, Product Groups, Finance, and Business Risk Management and external partners including the Fund's transfer agent.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage multi-step projects of varying complexity with multiple deadlines, ensuring all assigned projects are completed on schedule.

    • Review data analysis and monitor the reporting of data.

    • Understand and define business needs in the context of short and long term objectives

    • Take the lead for the team documenting risk and implementing steps to reduce risk.

    • Engage in procedure development and deployment ensuring all procedures are routinely reviewed and updated.

    • Identify trends and develop and implement procedures to improve current processes.

    • Provide back-up support to team members as needed.

    Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

    • Extensive experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required

    • Working knowledge of SS&C (DST) systems - TA2000, TA2000 Desktop, AWD

    • Strong analytical skills; high-attention to detail and able to quickly identify, analyze and solve problems.

    • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and presentation skills; able to communicate effectively across varying audiences and run meetings.

    • Able to make sound decisions in the absence of detailed instructions; ability to work independently.

    • Strong time management skills and able to prioritize in a demanding environment; able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced business with frequent changes and short deadlines.

    • Strong organizational skills; able to manage and complete a broad range of concurrent assignments/projects with efficiency and accuracy.

    • Understanding of the mutual fund and retirement industry

    Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

    • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses preferred.

    • Working knowledge of statement and media production preferred

    • Working and Adobe Experience Manager Forms software preferred

    • Experience with Microsoft Access preferred.
