Assistant Controller

Salary: $125,000 to $135,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid; 3 days per week in FiDi SF office)

Our client recently merged with a large publicly traded company based in Japan. This company is one of the largest container leasing companies in the world based on a CEU basis, representing nearly US$6 billion in revenue-earning assets

Job Description

• Collaborate with the Controller in managing day-to-day accounting operations.

• Lead month-end close and produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that are accurate and in accordance with US GAAP.

• Provide guidance and prepare technical accounting memos on critical positions.

• Maintain documentation over business processes and accounting policies to demonstrate compliance with internal control requirements.

• Prepare and timely distribute quarterly reporting package to parent company.

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• 4+ years of experience or equivalent busy seasons with exposure to ASC 842

• Technical accounting role

• Open to candidates from audit or industry background with ASC 842 exposure
