Audit Accountant (Bilingual Japanese)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Accountant to join our client's dynamic team at an esteemed accounting firm. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, hold a CPA certification or be in pursuit of CPA certification (CPA Tracking+), and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Assurance and/or Audit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and assisting in the drafting of financial statements and other client deliverables. - Compiling and preparing financial statements for small & mid-size business clients. - Performing audit, review, and compilation procedures, or assisting in other projects. - Examining, analyzing, and preparing corrections as necessary. - Processing journal entries and performing accounting corrections to ensure accurate records. - Preparing financial statements, year-end reconciliation reports, and cash balance reports. - Performing and documenting analytical procedures, substantive tests, and tests of controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues. - Must be Japanese / English bilingual. - Experience with Microsoft Great Plains/Dynamics is a plus. Requirements Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field. - CPA certification or CPA Tracking+ (Will sign off on hours). - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Assurance and/or Audit. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Japanese/English bilingual proficiency. - Experience with Microsoft Great Plains/Dynamics is a plus.
