    Robert Half has recently partnered with a reputable medical facility in the Lawrence, MA area who is actively seeking qualified Bilingual Customer Service Representatives. This role requires fluency in both Spanish and English.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assists Customer Support Center Team Leads with orientation and training of new staff members.

    • Promptly answers all incoming calls in a polite and professional manner using the appropriate uniformed script, prioritizing confidentiality and customer service.

    • Screens calls to determine if a CSR can assist the patient, takes a message for call back, or transfers calls to a specific department for resolution.

    • Verifies and updates patient demographics and insurance coverage prior to scheduling appointments. Refers patients with insurance issues to the New Patient Intake Coordinators.

    • Collects email addresses from all patients and registers them in the patient portal.

    • Checks patient appointment history to ensure scheduled appointments are still needed.

    • Creates new patient accounts and schedules appropriate appointments for patients with insurance in network.

    • Properly schedules appointments using Call Handling protocol and OneNote appointment scheduling protocol.

    • Informs callers to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment and to bring necessary items.

    • Completes Internal Patient Transfer form in Connect for patients requesting PCP change or care transfer.

    • Notifies appropriate staff of patients' late arrivals and follows cancellation and rescheduling procedures.

    • Answers questions and provides information as requested by callers.

    Qualifications

    • Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal)

    • Previous experience in customer service or a related field preferred

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

    • Proficiency in basic computer applications
