    We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will be key in maintaining and updating customer credit records, processing credit applications, and managing credit inquiries. This position is within the telecom provider industry, requiring expertise in various accounting software systems, Microsoft Office Suites, and customer service.

    Responsibilities

    • Respond to and research all inbound service and warranty claims

    • Input service or warranty project details into the business system

    • Create scopes of work and secure internal and external labor estimates

    • Schedule evaluation service calls as needed and manage each order to completion

    • Order product parts from manufacturers and submit warranty product parts via their portal

    • Prepare delivery and installation work orders and documentation

    • Schedule repairs with internal labor or subcontractors

    • Process customer invoices or manufacturer labor reimbursements

    • Review service and warranty accounts receivable bi-weekly, initiating collection process if needed

    • Attend and participate in weekly team meetings to ensure smooth operations

    Skills Required

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to learn and use our Daily Business Operating System

    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, designers, contractors, subcontractors, and customer contacts

    • Familiarity with using business email to communicate with text and documents

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and multitask in a fast-paced environment

    • High level of attention to detail, time management and multitasking skills.

    THIS IS A PART TIME ROLE 20-25 HOURS WEEKLY

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

    • Experience with ADP - Financial Services

    • Familiarity with IBM AS/400

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

    • Understanding of Accounting Functions

    • Knowledge of Billing Functions

    • Experience in Claim Administration

    • Familiar with Collection Processes

    • Excellent Customer Service skills
