  • Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Billing Clerk to join our team in Milford, Ohio. The selected candidate will be instrumental in supporting the facilities team by processing invoices for contractors engaged in construction projects. The role requires a deep understanding of billing functions, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Ariba, and excellent customer service skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Accurately process invoices for contractors involved in construction projects.

    • Collaborate closely with the facilities assistant and lead to ensure smooth operations.

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Ariba to carry out billing functions.

    • Maintain accurate records of all invoices and related transactions.

    • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any billing inquiries promptly and professionally.

    • Monitor and report on any discrepancies or issues in billing processes.

    • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards in all billing operations.

    • Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve billing processes and procedures.

    • Regularly update skills and knowledge in billing functions and related software like Microsoft Excel and Ariba. Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data entry and manipulation.

    • Experience in billing functions is necessary to understand and execute billing procedures.

    • Strong customer service skills are crucial to interact with clients and resolve any billing issues.

    • Knowledge of Ariba software is essential for managing procurement and invoicing processes.

    • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

    • Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
