Our products and services are now provided to industrial and retail accounts throughout North and South America. We are currently seeking a Branch Accountant to be responsible for various accounting functions, including assisting Finance and Supply Chain department, Accounts Payable, Reconciliations, and performing analysis of variances when necessary.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for corporate reporting

    • Processing Accounts Payable and Check Runs

    • Cost Accounting

    • Bank/cash reconciliation

    • Commission, rebate, and royalty calculations

    • Audit inventory transactions

    • Process payroll reports

    • Assist in month-end process and corporate reporting

    • Assist in budgeting process

    • Prepare state sales/use tax returns, and other taxes reporting

    • Gather data for monthly and quarterly financial reporting

    • Intercompany transactions process and reconciliation

    • General ledger account reconciliations

    • Assist Accounts Receivable when necessary

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in general Accounting, including Accounts Payable

    • Experience in the preparation of bank reconciliations, journal entries and month-end financial closings

    • Strong problem-solving, analytical and investigation skills

    • Technical skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; Sage 100 experience is a plus

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to multi-task projects and possess a general knowledge of business principles

    • Must be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure with repetitive and tedious work

    • Self-motivated with ability to work independently or as a team
