    The Business Services Cashier/Coordinator I will assist with the efficient operations of the Business Services Office, by providing accurate analysis of student accounts through interaction with students, parents and the College community. This individual will provide service to students and parents in facilitating payments in the office or counseling students and parents about payment plan options and/or online payments. They will be responsible for processing departmental deposits as well as assisting parents and students with Saint Card, meal plan and billing concerns in person, by e-mail and phone.

    This individual will be responsible for several clerical tasks on a daily basis, including answering/referring phone calls, responding to emails and returning voicemails. They will process and maintain outside scholarships, loan returns, verify account balances for transcript requests and assist families with 1098T inquiries.

    This position is responsible for the daily reconciliation of their bank deposit(s) and cash boxes. Their secondary responsibility will be to provide back up for Post Office clerical operations as needed.

    Salary: $ 18.94/hour - $19.89/hour*

    Job Requirements:

    A high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of relevant office experience are required for this position, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. This individual must have excellent customer service, communication and time management skills. Experience working with the public is required as well as experience in a cashiering setting. This individual must possess the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot account discrepancies. General computer knowledge, basic accounting skills and ability to use an adding machine are required.

    Experience using an ID Card System is preferred.

    A background screening will be required.
