Civil Litigation Attorney

Description

We are seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney for our Portland office. The role involves a range of responsibilities, including drafting and arguing civil motions, defending depositions, and preparing cases for trial. This is a great position for an Associate who is looking to gain trial experience!

Responsibilities

• Represent professionals, hospitals, and public-service entities, with a focus on medical and hospital liability.

• Draft and argue civil motions to advance client cases.

• Defend depositions to protect the interests of our clients.

• Prepare cases for trial, outlining key arguments, evidences, and strategies.

• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and legal excellence in service to our clients.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of jurisdictional rules and regulations.

• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and proceedings.

Requirements

2+ YOE in Civil Litigation

Active Oregon license in good standing

Experience handling professional liability or healthcare litigation cases
