Cherry Bekaert has been proudly providing Accounting and Advisory services to our clients for over 70 years. We are seeking a QuickBooks Accounting Coordinator to support our Accounting Services team in Chicago, IL .

As a Client Services Coordinator, you will:

• Be responsible for multiple clients' accounting and bookkeeping needs

• Set up QuickBooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online and train clients in the software

• Communicate with clients on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; travel to client offices

• Month-end/ Quarter-end/ Year-end closing

• Post and reconcile the General Ledger

• Prepare payroll and remit payroll taxes both manually and in software

• Prepare Property Tax Returns

• Prepare Form 1096 and 1099s

• Bank reconciliations

• Record fixed assets and depreciation

What you bring to the role:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy bookkeeping environment (debits and credits, bank reconciliations, compilations, payroll, etc.)

• Pro-Advisor Certification in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is a plus

• Experience in setting up QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online and training clients

• Superior client service with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel

• Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

• Ability to lead, prioritize, thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The salary range for this position is $19.69 to $33.46 an hour. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
