    Responsibilities

    • Monitors patient arrival and notified the physician/nurse when patient is ready to be seen in clinic.

    • Answers the telephone; relaying calls to appropriate individuals; gives directions, referring inquiries to appropriate nursing and physician staff.

    • Assist in overall case/patient flow.

    • Maintains supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; forwarding orders for supplies to the clinical manager.

    • Arranges departmental activities and functions.

    • Trains other and new personnel.

    • Maintains knowledge of codes, ie CPT and ICD-10 codes

    • Regularly participates in trainings and education activities to improve knowledge and skills.

    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma, GED, Metropolitan test or equivalent.

    • At least four (4) years' experience in a clerical capacity. Demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities.

    Pay Range

    $16.26 - $22.36 /hour
