Description:

The Colleague Health Office Coordinator/Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing patients for examination and/or treatments:, assists physician/np/nurse, as necessary. Performs clinical procedures/test such as, Venipuncture, EKG, Vision, audio, breath alcohol tests, drug screen collections, and taking vital signs. Maintains a safe, clean and comfortable environment. Assist with office duties such as patient registration and entering orders via computer systems, communication with clients and assist with routine office duties. Performs clinical procedures/scheduling, and participates in the Departmental Service Excellence Program, and adheres to TJC requirements. Is knowledgeable and skillful with the hospital/department computer software programs.
