Description
Robert Half currently has an opening for a Customer Service Representative working in the Insurance department of a mortgage company. The Customer Service Representative position requires on-site presence from Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. You will be working in the insurance department, supporting customers heavily with phone calls and email correspondences.
*** Looking for a candidate that has prior experience within a mortgage industry***
Handle multiple phone calls and emails to follow up with customers regarding their past due payments
Update customer accounts and perform data entry tasks
Send out reminders about delinquent payments via email, voicemail, and mail
Maintain a detailed record of customer interactions and transactions
Use your knowledge of MS Office Suite to efficiently manage and update customer accounts
Demonstrate a keen attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Utilize your customer service skills to provide excellent service to all customers
Learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating tech-savviness
Work in a team-oriented environment, supporting other team members as necessary
Assist in other duties as assigned, providing comprehensive support to the collections team.
Requirements
Must possess a minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role
Looking for someone with some sort of mortgage experience.
Can handle working in a fast pace environment and handling heavily phone calls.
Proven skills in customer service and consumer collections are essential
Proficiency in MS Office is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively
Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Willingness to continuously improve service skills and product knowledge to deliver high-quality customer service
