    We are offering a position for a Systems Administrator in Troy, New York. This role is in the telecom provider industry and is a contract employment opportunity. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring system performance and resolving technical issues. You will also have a key role in maintaining the operational production schedule and ensuring the security of our facilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor console for performance alerts and take appropriate action

    • Keep track of the schedule to determine which programs should and should not be running at various times during the assigned shift

    • Monitor all facility environmental controls including security, fire, humidity, and temperature

    • Prepare and maintain standard records and reports

    • Communicate technical issues to the appropriate staff

    • Perform other job duties as assigned

    • Utilize skills in Operations, Scheduling, Security, Facilities Management, and Computer Operation to perform tasks efficiently and effectively

    • Adhere to company policies regarding Background Checks

    • Assist in managing the Production Schedule and Mail Center operations

    Requirements - Proficiency in managing operations and scheduling tasks efficiently.

    • Demonstrated experience in pricing and cost analysis.

    • Strong knowledge of system security protocols and procedures.

    • Familiarity with facilities management and ensuring optimal use of resources.

    • Ability to conduct thorough background checks and maintain confidentiality.

    • Experience in managing production schedules and meeting deadlines.

    • Solid understanding of computer operation and system maintenance.

    • Experience in managing mail centers and ensuring smooth communication flow.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

    • Familiarity with industry best practices and staying updated with latest technological trends.

    • Willingness to participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

    • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

    • Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
