    Job Title: ERP Project Assistant for EMCOR Construction Services

    Location: McLean, VA

    Reports to: Director of ERP Implementations

    FLSA Status: Full-Time / Non - Exempt

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The ERP Project Assistant will support the ERP implementation teams and take direction from the Director of ERP Implementations and the VP of Finance. The ideal candidate should be analytical with an interest in project management. This position will handle administrative support to the ERP team in project tracking with a long-term goal of client aid in setup, configuration, use case development, user acceptance testing and preparing for training in Vista Software. You will be expected to work independently, as well as alongside the ERP team, and must be able to work well under pressure to handle a wide variety of tasks and handle confidential information.

    ECS HQ is based out of McLean, Virginia. However, remote work will be considered in other locations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Include the following. Other duties likely will be assigned.

    • Assist in the coordination of ERP projects with the ERP Implementation Director.

    • Convey updates from conversations/meetings, whether written or oral, and coordinates communication in writing to all necessary parties.

    • Responsible for minutes of meetings.

    • Assist with presentations on the project plan and updates.

    • Assist in setup, configuration, use case development, user acceptance testing and preparing for training.

    • Assist with the development of FAQ and How to documents for each implementing company.

    • Ability to travel

    • as business needs arise. Anticipating travel to be approximately 25% of work time

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • At least two years of professional experience in a technology-related or ERP setting, or project management

    • Experience with reviewing and helping communicate changes to rapidly updating project management software systems.

    • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to prioritize multiple project tasks with excellent attention to detail.

    • Advanced Office computer skills and versatility. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must.

    • A self-starter with insight into company goals, product, and project's needs, implementing strategies, taking on extra tasks, etc. to meet/exceed those goals and needs.

    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and efficiently prioritize requests. Experienced and comfortable with meeting high quality standards to prioritize and make sure deadlines are met.

    • Proven track record of dependability, reliability, and personal accountability, including working independently under limited supervision.

    • Experience with Viewpoint Vista a plus.

    • Ability to build positive working relationships using effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to read and interpret communication styles of diverse team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.

    The physical demands are those associated with working in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; move within the office to retrieve files and meet with employees in their offices or conference room. This role requires communicating verbally and in writing one on one, in small groups, as well as presenting to larger groups of employees. The employee should be able to work at a computer (reading and keying) for extended periods of time.

    Travel up to 25% by car (as a passenger or driver) or by airplane.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The employee will regularly work in a typical office environment. The noise level is typical of an office setting, mild to moderate.
