Customer Relations Representative (Job Number: 208515W-16)
Nutrition & Biosciences is a market-leading global business serving customers across the food & beverage, health & bioscience and pharma markets with innovative, healthy and sustainable solutions, spanning a broader portfolio than any of its peers. Our Rochester, NY site is looking for a total of 6 Customer Relations Representatives who are motivated and experienced working within a fast paced customer service environment.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be successful in this role if have the following experience:
Processing orders into order management system this would include inventory checking with planner/working with TOPL planner for stock availability.
Processing invoices and credit notes as needed.
Providing shipment/order related information and product literature as needed to sales/business finance.
Managing customer calls and inquiries.
Ensuring customer information is accurately maintained in the ERP SAP system.
Creating a positive internal/external customer experience
Managing end to end order fulfillment process.
Processing samples (standard package) as needed as per process outlined.
Responding to customer complaints via GCMS tool
Actively supporting Supply Chain Organization objectives and strategies which might require changes in roles and responsibilities.
Analyzing customer data utilizing reports and systems - to understand key customer / key distributor demand behavior so as to manage the ordering cycle.
Adhering to department ISO procedures (job instructions, processes / procedures)
Driving continuous process improvements in the Customer Relations Team and Supply Chain
Responsible for managing the end to end consignment process via forecast and inventory levels at customer location where applicable.
Adhering to audit/compliance reporting/requirements
Participating in any ad-hoc projects
Monthly Cycle Count /Annual Physical participation
Bachelor's degree (any field) preferred
High school Diploma/GED with minimum of 2 years Customer Service or B2B experience
Experience working with automated order fulfillment and financial computer systems; global procedures
MS Office Suite, Windows 10 experience is a plus
Account management experience is a plus
Ability to effectively communicate via phone and thoroughly organized with managing emails
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 10% Travel. Not required but occasional visits to warehouse and customer sites will come up 1-2 times per year. 4 open roles (applicants who were interviewed (phone/on-site) within the last 90 days will not be considered for new roles), exempt role (M-F)
