    Function Job Description

    Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you'll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working "from shelf to field," you'll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

    The Deductions Intern ensures oversight of the deduction's portfolio for North America core business and collaborate closely with Sales, customers, MDS (Mondelez Digital Services), BO service provider and other Functional Areas in order to achieve resolution of disputes and other relevant accounts receivable items in accordance with current Guidelines and Service Level Agreements.

    The individual in this position will also directly manage certain types of accounts receivable items or customers, and participate in ongoing projects, as determined based on the business need.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain oversight around deductions portfolio for North America core business.

    • Proactively engage with appropriate Functions to facilitate effective processing and prompt resolutions of deductions in adherence with current processes and compliance guidelines, and work through the internal organization to ensure OLA (Operational Level Agreement) requirements are met.

    • Conduct research for assigned types of items/customers and assist with recovery of the invalid charges.

    • Manage resolution of aged account receivable items.

    • Provide ongoing support to our customer facing groups in Sales, Customer Service, Sales Service, and other functional areas.

    • Identify improvements to ways of working, potential processing gaps and escalate opportunities to Mondelez Business Services and Outsource Provider Organization.

    • Proactively participate in knowledge transfer, training, and building functional expertise within Outsource Provider Organization.

    Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in: Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration.

    • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with a preferred expected graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025.

    • Must live in or near the Wilkes Barre, PA area (housing or transportation will not be provided for this opportunity).

    Compensation

    • The expected compensation weekly pay ranges for interns is $900 - $1,150.

    • Compensation rates for Summer Interns is pre-determined and non-negotiable.
