    THREE POSITIONS AVAILABLE

    Hours 8:00am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday possibility of 2.00 hours of overtime per week

    We are inviting applications for the role of a Customer Service Representative in the insurance industry, to be based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role primarily entails managing customer inquiries related to credit applications and maintaining accurate records in our database.

    Responsibilities include

    • Receiving, investigating, and resolving all customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Ensuring all customer communication is clearly documented.

    • Educating customers to ensure resolution is achieved on first contact.

    • Interacting with customers through various channels such as Chat, Phone, and Email.

    • Performing data entry tasks related to customer service.

    • Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) to accomplish tasks.

    Requirements

    MUST have a high school diploma / GED equivalent.

    • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry

    • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls

    • Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

    • Experience in a call center environment would be advantageous

    • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues effectively

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for email correspondence and phone interactions

    • Experience in data entry and order entry tasks

    • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn new systems quickly

    • Willingness to undertake further training as required to keep skills up to date

    Experience in Insurance or healthcare would be a huge plus combined with customer service/call center experience.
