Customer Service Representative (Medical Supply Chain)

Description: Applicants with relevant experience in medical equipment, customer service, inventory management, and order management will be considered for this role. This opportunity offers both and contract and contract to hire options.

• These reps are receiving high volume inbound calls from the hospital, clinics, RNs, and Facility team in regards to needing supplies (bandages, mask, epidural kits, scalpel, scissors, gauze, tape, syringes, surgical tools, injection needles, etc). They may also redirect calls to appropriate department.

• Discusses concerns and/or tasks with the Supply Chain leadership and co-workers.

• Reviews demand patterns and inventory, turns in asset inventories based on walk-up, spot check, and inventory transactions Compiles reports to assist

• Inventory Control Coordinators to establish optimum Periodic Automated Replenishment (PAR) levels for asset and expense supply locations.

• Monitors all inventory issues and ensures effective resolution. Identifies products impacted by disruptions.

• Works with vendors and distributors as needed.

• Qualifications:

• Must have substantial knowledge of hospital peri-operative inventory control.

• Must have the ability to maintain a constructive working relationship with administration, surgeons, staff, support services, vendors, logistics and purchasing.

• Strong knowledge and experience in understanding needs and verbiage of clinical and non-clinical staff.

• Knowledge of inventory control/management practices, techniques, and systems

• Skill in performing proficient data entry
