Mail Order-Claremont, NH

Adecco Staffing is working with one of the America's few remaining, family-owned smokehouses to fill a Mail Order position on 1st shift! These are temp-hire positions.

Pay Rate:

• $18.00/hour

Hours :

• 1st Shift: Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 5:30pm; some Saturdays

Job Overview:

The Mail order position is responsible for selecting customer orders and fulfilling them as quickly and accurately as possible. Tasks include selecting, packaging, and loading of customer orders to be delivered without damage or error. All in compliance with the standards of wholesomeness, hygiene, health & safety at work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Always demonstrate accuracy of work

• Navigate warehouse to ensure customer orders are collected

• Package customer orders according to order requests

• Review documentation and work following procedures

• Ensure company guidelines and policies are met at all times

• Run Scale

• Pack boxes, add ice, and seal with correct documents (packing slip, cards etc.)

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D

• Relevant experience in warehouse

Position Requirements:

• Able to work in a cold environment

• Wear bump cap, earmuffs, safety boots

• Able to read and interpret orders

• Able to operate computer.

• Follow and promote safe work practices

• Basic math

• Maintain work area

• Stand for long periods of time

• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Lift up to 40 lbs.

• Have excellent attendance

• Good work ethic

• Be able to work independently
