    The role you'll contribute:

    The Director of Supply CSC Support Services is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for all activities and operations involving AdventHealth's Corporate Printing Services, Mail Services and Courier Services. This position requires close connectivity with each division/market to ensure teams are optimizing resources needed to provide excellent print, mail, and courier services to all Florida-Based AdventHealth Hospitals. The goal is to take advantage of AdventHealth's size and scope to bring efficient and effective support to all Florida-based facilities. The Director of CSC Support Services will be responsible for the Management Team and Staff of our Print Shop, Mail Room, and Courier Services.

    • Build and maintain successful relationships with our internal customers.

    • Coordinate the activities of the management team; monitor the system for effective operations.

    • Analyze and resolves work problems or assists team in solving problems.

    • Provide regular feedback to Executive Director on team performance.

    • Ensures development and implementation staff training programs.

    • Monitor KPIs and ensure staff meets job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining.

    • Adheres strictly to Advent Health Compliance Plan and the rules and regulations of applicable regulatory authorities; protects confidentiality of patient information and results at all times.

    • Perform other duties as assigned or directed by management.

    Print Services

    • Provide oversight, direction and accountability to all print service processes and ensures team adherence to company policy and procedure.

    • Provide direction to all functions within print services to improve individual and overall team performance.

    • Oversee inventory functions to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy of processes in a dynamic environment.

    • Oversee bidding, cost analysis, scheduling, delivery, and quality control for jobs with special request that must be processed by outside companies (specialists in the areas of special shapes, coating, and binding)

    • Ensures quick response to issues identified by clients and department managers; skillfully communicates to the appropriate administrator(s) creating an atmosphere of cooperation.

    • Oversee the processing of jobs, from a diverse customer base, submitted using different electronic file extensions.

    • Ensure Quality Control of the printing process.

    • Develop a strategic roadmap for enhancement, cost savings and expansion of print service capabilities.

    Courier Services

    • Ensures hospital vehicles are operated within the laws of the State of Florida, and policies of Advent Health; ensures vehicles are maintained to maximize cost effectiveness and productivity.

    • Ensure safe transportation of biological specimens, equipment, supplies, reports and related items or related paperwork according to defined schedule and department expectations.

    • Ensures development of functionality and service associated with the electronic tracking system.

    • Attends meetings as appropriate and participates in different committees associated with laboratory courier services. Participates in, and has knowledge of, laboratory and hospital Performance Improvement activities.

    • Provide oversight, direction and accountability to all logistic processes and ensures team adherence to company policy and procedure.

    • Perform all the listed duties as needed to ensure the accuracy and on time delivery for all requestors.

    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.

    • Develop and implement new processes to improve logistics operations within the company.

    • Develop, revise, and maintain current practices, policies and procedures to support the department and its internal customers.

    • Plan, coordinate, and provide leadership for complex logistics projects.

    • Identify opportunities to reduce organizational operational cost.

    Mail Services

    • Manages budget, resource allocation, and forecasting tools to ensure best possible use of resources and to plan and report budgetary expenses effectively.

    • Oversees inventory of checks.

    • Relies on experience and judgment to establish and accomplish Mail Service goals.

    • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of US Postal Service Regulations and educates staff and customers of these regulations system wide as necessary.

    • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.

    • Interacts with Client Hospital Leadership to ensure customer service expectations are being met.

    • Ensures and analyzes production targets onsite are met daily, weekly, and monthly by measuring against departmental goals.

    • Develop strategic plans to improve current operations and workflows.

    • Identify opportunities to reduce organizational operational cost.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

    • Bachelor's degree in business, management, supply chain or equivalent

    • Four (4) years leadership experience

    • Management of multifunction operations for multiple locations

    • Management of financial budgets and operational analysis

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

    • Master's degree in business, management, supply chain or equivalent

    • Ten (10) years progressive experience in in Print, Mail and/or Courier/Logistics Services

    • Six (6) years leadership experience

    • Track record of building a new function within an existing organization
