A Dispatcher is needed for a medical technology company focused on the repair, regeneration and replacement of soft and hard tissue in the Memphis, TN area. The Production Dispatcher releases and assembles production orders, processes subcontract supplier purchase orders, monitors paperwork accuracy, conducts GEMBA walks, communicates effectively with various teams, identifies procedural improvements, and requires computer proficiency, math skills, and interpersonal abilities.

responsibilities

• Releases production orders per schedule, including prints, IPs, work authorizations, etc.

• Assembles production order packets and ensures timely delivery to support manufacturing processes.

• Processes subcontract supplier purchase orders with required paperwork and delivers them for processing.

• Monitors accuracy of production and purchase order paperwork.

• Takes production GEMBA walks to identify work needed per cell and delivers production orders to cells as necessary.

• Prepares planning reports as required.

• Establishes effective communication with various teams such as production planners, buyers, supervisors, plant production departments, and/or management.

Skills

• SAP, Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook.

• Basic math knowledge including counting, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• Interpersonal skills required.

Education: High School Diploma required.
