    TIC Denver is one of Kiewit's Districts that focuses on construction projects in industrial settings. These projects range from Industrial Manufacturing, Power to OGC and Mining across the country. TIC Denver is an "open-shop" environment.

    Position Overview:

    As an Administrative/Executive Assistant you will be supporting senior leadership within TIC-Denver as well as provide Administrative support to the district as a whole. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of success in supporting an Executive and/or has worked as an Administrative Assistant supporting an office environment.


    • Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, and maintaining records management database systems.

    • Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.

    • Provide assistance with proof-reading documents; maintaining database files; assembling project support material; and ordering/organizing office supplies.

    • Prepare metrics reports for management review.

    • Coordinate schedules, travel arrangements, reimbursements and expense forms utilizing various software programs.

    • Organize and arrange meetings, schedule conference rooms and set up catered meals.

    • Assist with presentation preparation.

    • Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mails.

    • Support the coordination for conferences and events (secure meeting location, hotel contracts, arrange for catering, and purchase prizes).

    • Investigate and visit local hotels as possible meeting sites for incoming guests, and make recommendations.

    • Provide reception support when required.


    • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and a team player mentality.

    • High school diploma and at least five (5) + years applicable executive-level support experience, preferably in one of the following fields: engineering, construction or oil/gas/chemicals.

    • Strong organizational skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Sharepoint.

    • Familiar with Adobe products including Acrobat and InDesign.

    • Must be a positive, pro-active, strong team participant that quickly builds relationships.

    • Demonstrate strict confidentiality and sensitivity when handling critical information shared with management

    • Experience planning meetings in a fast-paced environment.

    • Ability to meet deadlines, sometimes at short notice, and be able to work overtime as required.

    Working Conditions:

    • Fast-paced office environment; must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management while simultaneously manage a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively; regularly sit, stand, walk and talk and listen; occasionally lift and move up objects up to 30 pounds.
