    As a Field Service Order Support with one of the world's most respected manufacturers of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, your role is critical in driving customer satisfaction from order acceptance through receipt of payment. You will work to ensure that projects and orders are executed with excellence and that customer experience is nothing short of stellar. This role will report directly to the Manager of FS Order Management. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to help a great sales and manufacturing organization become even better!

    We are looking for Field Service Order Support. The position will be based at our Hingham, MA location .

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs project management tasks for assigned customers, overseeing all aspects of the projects from order acceptance to invoice.

    • Handle decisions in coordination with the Area Manager regarding the scheduling and movement of resources and material based on the nature of service calls, urgency, contractual obligation, and availability.

    • Handle incoming service requests via phone or email, resulting in a service work order and scheduled or dispatched personnel.

    • Effectively communicates project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.

    • Tracks project milestones and deliverables to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects based on agreed upon contract terms.

    • Manages and files clients' information in SAP and other information systems.

    • Participates in investigating and resolving commercial and/or technical problems.

    • Assists with project cost reporting and prevention of non-conformance costs, when applicable.

    • Assist the Field Service managers in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the Field Service team's operations.

    • Schedule and Coordinate Department meetings.

    • Serve as a primary liaison for the Field Service team by fielding internal and external customer inquiries.

    • Support Field Service technicians with open work orders until they are closed and invoiced.

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent experience or state-recognized GED required.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required.

    • Strong social skills and demonstrated ability to influence people in a fast-paced multi-cultural business environment.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills

    • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

    • Basic knowledge of SAP and Logistical processes preferred.

    • Experience with Field Service Organizations

    • The pay range for this position is $52K-$65K per year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
