  • What You'll Do

    We're looking for a Field Supervisor 2 to be part of a cohesive team following procedures and work to complete customer transactions in a timely and accurate manner to ensure a positive customer experience! You'll work in a fast-paced environment, reviewing complex transactions in products offered by Principal Securities.

    You'll have the opportunity to do the following:

    • Review financial plans, analyze products, and collaborate with our financial professionals and leaders in the Principal Financial Network.

    • Collaborate with business partners in Broker Dealer Operations and Principal Securities Compliance to research, respond and customer complaints.

    • Assist in researching and solving escalated items from the team, providing informal leadership and mentoring members of the team.

    • Monitor and follow up on other special projects and transactions

    Who You Are

    • Bachelor degree, or equivalent work experience required.

    • 4+ years of prior work related experience, such as broker dealer, trade surveillance, OBA review, suitability or best interest review, etc.

    • FINRA Series 7, 24, & 66 required.

    • Strong knowledge of all securities products including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, & annuities.

    • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

    Skills that will help you stand out:

    • Goal oriented and results driven with strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.

    • Computer skills and the ability to obtain knowledge of business unit software, prior experience with Fidelity or Pershing is a plus.

    • High degree of accuracy with a strong attention to detail.

    • Able to work independently in a fast-paced work environment to meet deadlines.

    • Series 4 & 53 preferred.

    Salary Range Information

    Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

    Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

    $86450 - $116850 / year

    Time Off Program

    Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

    This role offers in-office or hybrid work arrangements in Des Moines, Iowa. You'll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
