  • Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in Akron, Ohio. Operating within the non-profit sector, the role involves a variety of administrative and customer service duties, often serving as the first point of contact for clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitate daily opening and closing of the front desk

    • Manage high volume of incoming calls from multiple buildings, both internal and external, while concurrently greeting arriving visitors

    • Check-in clients using appointment software and notify clinician or therapist of their arrival

    • Verify PHI and insurance eligibility, updating information as needed

    • Collect and process client copays and co-insurance

    • Manage client Psychiatric appointments, including scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling

    • Maintain appointments and schedules for Psychiatrist and clinical staff in the scheduling software system

    • Process and track requests for signatures on multiple agency documents

    • Assist in preparing for audits

    • Work collaboratively with the team to provide best possible care and services to clients, responding promptly to issues to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction

    • Provide clerical and administrative support to ensure services are delivered effectively and confidentially Requirements - Experience with insurance verifications

    • Proficiency in routing incoming calls

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Excel

    • Excellent internal communication skills

    • Ability to schedule appointments effectively

    • Prior experience in a non-profit environment is advantageous

    • Proven track record as a front desk coordinator or similar role

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

    • Excellent customer service skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • High level of professionalism and personal integrity

    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks or projects

    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
