Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking to recruit a diligent and proficient Full Charge Bookkeeper based in Memphis, Tennessee. This role involves managing both accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, and overseeing general bookkeeping duties in a fantastic workplace setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient and accurate entry of invoices, processing of checks, and ACH payments on a weekly basis.

• Record and reconcile credit card transactions while maintaining up-to-date accounts payable files.

• Review daily server checks and assist with banquet billing and review of receipts.

• Conduct regular deposits and process basic adjustments to accounts.

• Oversee bank reconciliation processes and record bi-weekly payroll transactions to the general ledger.

• Maintain general ledger schedules and accrual method books, including accrual of expenses and calculation of prepaids.

• Report monthly fixed asset changes and maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.

• Purchase office supplies through buying programs and maintain business and alcohol licenses on an annual basis.

Requirements

Full charge bookkeepers for this position must have 5+ years' experience and be proficient in Excel.
