  • Delta Air Lines Human Resources team is in the midst of a multi-year HR transformation. We are looking for an experienced HR Master Data Management Manager within our service delivery center to join our team in our Atlanta office. This role will be the primary point of contact for all People Core data including Time, Payroll, and Employee Data Maintenance. The focus will be a People Leader to drive the increased use of industry wide master data management best practices and harmonized business processes across Delta. Additional responsibilities include leading and executing all projects within approved timelines and budgets, delivering the expected business outcomes, building and maintaining a high performing master data team, managing and developing talent, and creating a culture based upon shared accountability, agility and driving strategic business.

    Primary Functions:

    Strategic management for the drive and optimization of business processes for HR data maintenance while demonstrating a strong understanding of the various systems that house HR data as well as the integration between those systems.

    Partner with functional HR leaders to understand business challenges, predict business needs, and develop workforce insights, providing a one-stop shop for HR reporting and analytics.

    Independently gather information and analyze, interpret, and summarize data to deliver strategic business insights.

    Partner with the HRIS and IT teams to continuously look for process improvements in processes to effectively support business operations and end-user needs.

    Build, establish, and manage service level agreements (SLAs) with the operating companies and other internal customers, and KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of the team.

    Develop, implement and oversee Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR Data & Reporting processes and their corresponding SOX controls, and implement recurring data integrity audits.

    Implement, administer and implement HR Data scorecard that tracks and monitors SLAs and KPIs, including the accuracy rate of HR Data.

    Provide functional expertise and business needs during technology implementations and upgrades.

    Implement and leverage case management tools to effectively monitor the team's support of the Operating companies and other customers, while managing the team's workload efficiently.

    Closely work with all HRSD functions (such as Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting & Onboarding) and Identity Management teams to manage their time sensitive (tactical) needs accurately.

    Responsible for managing and developing a team who continuously build and manage business relationships with customers and various stakeholders, while implementing processes to achieve high levels of customer service.

    Build and oversee a high-performing team of HR professionals that focuses on customer service while increasing effectiveness and efficiency in maintaining HR Data and delivering Workforce analytics.

    Prepare and manage departmental budgets and expenses.

    Create and manage data governance model with appropriate level premising and long term management of access & controls.

    Bachelor's degree in a technology related field, database management, quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science and MIS) or related business field with combination of experience.

    Must possess 5-7+ years of similar work experience within enterprise-scale systems administration, server and system maintenance, and systems operations (including software and hardware).

    Experience with HR systems and data with a strong preference for candidates with hands-on SAP and SuccessFactors experience.

    Experience with leading teams of IT systems administrators, systems technicians, systems operators with a strong technical fluency related to systems, data flows, and integration.

    Demonstrated ability to work within a matrixed environment supporting both ongoing operations and special projects simultaneously.

    Experience with creating executive-level reports using PowerPoint and data visualization software.

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to produce analyses and reports independently.

    Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic and global environment

    Ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.

    Ability to translate business needs into systems design with excellent problem solving skills (focused on directly addressing issues with software, hardware, and servers).

    Broad HR experience, familiarity with HR Functions. Knowledge of Delta Technology and/or HR preferred.
