Hardware Refresh Technician

Description

Day to day responsibilities of a Hardware Refresh Technician will include

1. Primary focus is doing hardware refreshes - dropping image on devices and performing configurations.

2. Need to be able to swap devices.

3. Software installs, data backups and restores on device

4. Printer installs on devices and configuring network printers

5. Refreshing and troubleshooting laptops, minis, and all in one devices

6. Printer upgrades and refreshes will also be apart of it; full printer replacements

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• We will need these technicians to travel between remote sites. These sites go from Lancaster to Cape May. They will be able to reimburse these miles.

• Must be comfortable with end users because this team will be asked to provide support for our 24 x 7 and Rounding Tech teams.

• Monday through Friday is the schedule

• Would like them to be flexible on start and end time

• i.e. come in at 9am normally, but shift to 7am and then end time shifts up to come out to 40-hour work week . This all depends on workload.

• "if we're down a body that's when OT will come into play or a major go live"

• Refresh schedule will be planned out a few weeks in advance to ensure they techs aren't shifting schedule within a day or week timeframe unless call outs happen where coverage is needed

• Strong likelihood that this team will be pulled in for additional coverage for 24 x 7 coverage. They need to be comfortable with working weekends/2nd or 3rd shift/any off hours shift.
