Description
The Human Resources Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources Manager in ensuring compliance across various HR functions. This role encompasses payroll processing, safety and compliance management, onboarding/offboarding procedures, benefits administration, recruiting assistance, and general office and administrative support.
Human Resources Support - Payroll:
Process payroll on a semi-monthly basis.
Manage timecard adjustments, time off requests, and attendance records.
Ensure accuracy and timely approval of timecards in coordination with management.
Generate and distribute reports as required.
Enter new hires, process terminations, and update staff information.
Address payroll-related inquiries and update information as necessary.
Human Resources Support - Safety & Compliance:
Maintain compliance with personnel files, records, and documentation.
Conduct audits to ensure documentation accuracy and update as needed.
Research and update mandated forms and posters.
Assist in implementing and maintaining company safety programs.
Conduct safety presentations and required training quarterly.
Coordinate safety meetings and maintain safety files.
Assist with mandatory training for legal compliance.
Human Resources Support - Onboarding, Offboarding:
Prepare and present offer letters.
Coordinate pre-employment requirements.
Assist in preparing work areas for new hires and conduct orientations.
Coordinate inter-departmental training schedules.
Human Resources Support - Benefits:
Liaise with external benefits broker for enrollment and termination.
Review and ensure accuracy of monthly premiums.
Manage online benefits platform and assist with new hire enrollment.
Address general benefit inquiries and escalate complex issues.
Human Resources Support - Recruiting:
Assist in sourcing candidates and posting open positions.
Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews.
Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Human Resources Support - Office & Administrative:
Manage office supply inventory and vendor research.
Maintain cleanliness of office facilities.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
Maintain company asset log and recommend disposal methods.
Provide support for special projects and administrative tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum one year of experience in Human Resources.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
