  • Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in the healthcare industry, based in Roslyn Heights, New York. This role is pivotal in managing various human resources activities within the organization, with a specific focus on recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, training and development, and HR reporting and analysis.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee and manage the recruitment process for both clinical and non-clinical positions, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing

    • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities such as orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and training

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances

    • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as healthcare industry standards

    • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements and best practices

    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, and assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries

    • Coordinate training and development initiatives for staff, including compliance training, professional development programs, and continuing education opportunities

    • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports, such as turnover rates, recruitment statistics, and employee satisfaction surveys, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in HR processes and practices. Requirements - Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

    • Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

    • Experience with Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time

    • Ability to manage Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, and Compliance tasks

    • Strong understanding of Employee Relations and Benefits Administration

    • Experience in Full Cycle Recruiting and Onboarding

    • Knowledge of HR Generalist roles and responsibilities

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Ability to work independently and within a team

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

    • Relevant certification in Human Resources is a plus.
