  • Description

    • Large biotech company is hiring a HRIS Coordinator! The is located onsite in Alameda, once training is complete the schedule will be a 3/2 hybrid schedule!

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain employee and contingent worker records in HRIS (Workday), including entering new employee information, employee changes, and terminations

    • Maintain job profiles, positions, and supervisory organization changes in Workday

    • Send accurate and timely new hire and contingent worker announcements

    • Respond to questions from recruiters and HRBPs on Job Descriptions and Requisition creation

    • Support employee and contingent worker onboarding and help organize new hire orientation, training & development initiatives

    • Support migration of paper records to Workday

    • Monitor HR tickets via the Footprints ticketing system, including responding to employment verifications.

    • Monitor Workday inbox items for HR Coordinator and HR Admin.

    • Monitors emails to onboarding distribution and HRIS Support

    • Provide general administrative and day-to-day operations to the HR department.

    • Handle administrative needs of HR management team as requested.

    • Assist with new hire orientation logistics.

    • Assist with ordering and preparing new hire swag for new employees.

    • Support benefits, compensation, HR systems and employee relations as needed.

    • Perform scheduled and ad-hoc internal audits.

    • Perform other HR duties including special projects as assigned

    • Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process issues; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

    • Collaborate with HR and stakeholders of other functional areas, such as IT, Finance, Payroll, and Legal, as well as external vendors, to identify business requirements, process improvements and systems-driven solutions.
