  • If you are a Human Resources professional looking for an opportunity to go, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based at our Rushville, IN location, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact answering general inquiries and directing team members to the appropriate resource, performs a wide range of tasks related to payroll, HR and general plant inquiries.

    As a Human Resources Coordinator, You Will:

    • Support the HR department by ensuring smooth operation of administrative functions.

    • Assist facility associates with HR related issues including interactions with online processes.

    • Maintain all HR related files, both paper and electronic, to ensure they are accurate, current and in legal compliance.

    • Assist with recruiting process by posting openings, tracking candidates, coordinating interviews and completing all pre-hire requirements.

    • Assist with new hire orientations and set up new hires in HR systems.

    • Audit Kronos attendance records and generate/issue attendance corrective action notices as needed.

    • Manage bulletin board and online communications including compliance postings.

    • Work with the HR Manager and HR Generalist to create and maintain a positive, productive workplace culture through employee engagement activities.

    Required Education, Experience & Skills:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

    • Two (2+) years of experience in Human Resources

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong skills in all Microsoft Office Suite products

    • Ability to work independently

    • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization

    • Knowledge of Kronos Time & Attendance System

    Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

    • BS/BA degree in HR or related discipline

    • Experience in Workday

    About Our Location

    Our 2-building campus offers a safe and clean work environment with a "family" atmosphere. We manufacture new semi-hermetic compressors and take the worn-out, failed compressors out of the field and remanufacture them to "like new" status, as well as manufacture crank shafts. Approximately 200 employees work in Rushville and are an integral part of our organization. A 2-building campus allows for learning and growth opportunities for all our team.
