    Join our collaborative team of HR professionals dedicated to enhancing the employee experience at Sargent & Lundy. As an HR Generalist, your responsibilities will include:

    • Coordinating all phases of recruitment for assigned departments

    • Collaborating with department managers to craft precise job descriptions and hiring criteria

    • Implementing effective recruiting methods tailored to the role and industry standards

    • Coordinating interviews and overseeing the selection process

    • Assisting in salary negotiation and onboarding processes

    • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies

    • Representing Sargent & Lundy at college career fairs

    • Providing guidance on company policies and benefits

    • Conducting HR research and maintaining employment records

    • Conducting exit interviews and preparing HR reports

    • Undertaking special HR projects as assigned

    • Working collaboratively with other HR Generalists

    This position offers a hybrid schedule, with 3 office days per week and the remainder remote/virtual.

    Qualifications

    Preferred qualifications for this HR Generalist role include:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management with a focus on Human Resources or a related field

    • 2+ years of experience as a recruiter or HR Generalist

    • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations

    • Strong commitment to internal and external customer service

    • Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities with a results-oriented approach

    • Proficiency in problem diagnosis and solution implementation

    • Aptitude for utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to drive decisions

    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

    • Demonstrated bias for action, strong work ethic, and dedication to excellence

    • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process enhancement

    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    • Familiarity with internet sourcing techniques, such as Boolean search, and experience with platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar job boards

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced recruiting environment

    • Willingness to travel (less than 10%) and occasionally work overtime

    Desirable qualifications:

    • Prior experience as an HR Generalist with a consulting, professional services, architecture/engineering firm, or staffing agency

    • Familiarity with iCIMS or Cornerstone systems

    • HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)

    The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 annually.
