    Reporting to the Human Resources Operations Manager, you will provide comprehensive advice and consultation to managers, supervisors, and employees regarding full range of Human Resource actions.

    In this role, you will analyze and provide management with solutions to ensure consistent HR practices and work collaboratively with HR Service Center and Centers of Expertise (CoE) to analyze and present options to resolve various HR issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for preparing and processing HR transactions, information and data gathering and will assist in the implementation of HR programs and initiatives, providing a high level of customer service and communication.

    May be on-site up to 2x per week

    Salary Range: $71,500-$154,9000 Annually.Qualifications

    Required

    • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a large health care organization

    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Broad based HR knowledge and awareness of laws and regulations

    • Proven ability to analyze/evaluate information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures. Identify relevant factors, formulate objective conclusions, and provide alternatives and their implications.

    • Demonstrated math skills to calculate salaries, payroll documents, vacation and sick leave accruals

    • Demonstrated ability to function in a dynamic environment subject to changes in priorities, ambiguity, and limited direction

    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

    • Demonstrated knowledge of online HR systems

    • Demonstrated working knowledge of PC computer operations including Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    • Advanced working knowledge of Excel

    • High level of ethics, integrity, discretion and confidentiality

    Preferred

    • Working knowledge of UCLA staff policies

    • Working knowledge of procedures and provisions of collective bargaining agreements
