Laser Etch Operator

Pay range: $18-$21/hour

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Programs laser per print requirements.

2. Identifies established dimensions and completes in-process inspections.

3. Saves appropriate setup information into customer file by part number.

4. Helps maintain quality control.

5. Maintains a clean and safe work area.

6. Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Knowledge of laser etch requirements per print and/or customer specification. These include but are not limited to part number, lot number, logo, dimensioned lines, etc.

2. Able to read and understand shop traveler, able to identify any special process of work instruction specified.

3. Able to use measurement equipment including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparator as required.

4. Able to read blueprints.

5. Good mechanical ability.
