  • If you are an experienced Customer Service Associate looking for an exciting opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. Candidates will be responsible for quoting of all service projects. You will act as the primary liaison between customers, Premier Service Providers, Regional Machining Center site management and Final Control product engineers as needed.

    AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE, YOU WILL:

    • Prepare accurate quotes for pricing by working with multiple departments (i.e. Engineering, Regional Machining Center site management, and customers) as needed to ensure accurate quotes and lead times. • Consistently demonstrate superior customer service by combining system knowledge, sales and product and problem-solving skills to meet and exceed customer expectations • Responsible for knowing and collaborating with key stakeholders across the North America Flow Controls business to complete order requests • Review customer and Fisher specifications to ensure appropriate quality and processing requirements are applied to quotes and orders • Select appropriate sourcing options to ensure parts are delivered according to the customers needs • Provide timely responses to Premier Service Provider RFQs for part prices and lead-times • Work closely with Regional Machining Centers to quote part repairs as requested by PSPs • Coordinate selection of alternative materials between Product Engineering and Premier Service Providers • Provide timely responses to Intellectual Property requests to support repair orders while ensuring compliance • Contribute to the improvement of the North America Service support processes and tools • Review drawings and item set up to understand marketability and item attribute commonalities

    REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Prior experience in process control or related technical, industrial, mechanical or manufacturing experience • Problem solving capabilities/Project Management and Troubleshooting abilities • Strong Customer Service ability • Excellent time management abilities, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task • Inside technical sales aptitude • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills are a must. • Legal authorization to work in the United States

    PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    • Advanced Education in related field preferred • Experience with process controls industry strongly preferred • Relational Database Management System (such as Oracle) a plus
