    About the Role:

    As a CBRE LIS/LTS Supervisor, you will oversee the team responsible for performing daily solutions to ensure services are delivered in a safe, compliant, and timely manner.

    This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

    What You'll Do:

    • Supervise daily operations to make sure services are provided in a cost-effective, safe, timely, and compliant manner within the approved budget and contractual obligations specified by the customers.

    • Ensure all programs and procedures of the staff are being properly performed.

    • Support the development and administration of the department budget. Review all expenditures for tools, equipment, supplies, materials, and additional contract requirements and submit for approval.

    • Review and update LIS and LTS equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures.

    • Track, evaluate, and report performance on quality, safety, cost, and customer satisfaction.

    • Manage contractor specifications, problems, performance, and administration.

    • Conduct financial analysis including the preparation of reports.

    • Order and track inventory of spare parts and consumables.

    • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

    • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

    • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

    • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

    • Work within broad guidelines and policies.

    • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

    What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor's degree in science (chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or similar) or equivalent lab experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    • Service knowledge of GC, HPLC, Purge & Trap, TOC, GC/MS & LC/MS required, as well as knowledge of lab practices, standard concepts, and test procedures for these analytical instruments.

    • Prior shift manager, supervisory, or lead experience is preferred.

    • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

    • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

    • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

    • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $93,000 and the maximum salary is $115,000. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
