    Your Role

    The Manager, Archives Collections supports Warner Bros. Discovery Archives efforts to build and maintain our collections and tools, and acts as an enthusiastic advocate and personal representative for the Archive in the company by promoting our resources, programs and services.

    The Manager, Archives Collections is responsible for the daily communication and for maintaining a strong relationship between Warner Bros. Discovery Archives, Production entities and other business groups to identify production and legacy assets for transfer into Archive holdings, and serves as our liaison between Warner Bros. Discovery Productions and other groups for all Warner Bros. Discovery brands.

    The Manager, Archives Collections refines, implements, and upholds archival policies and procedures with regard to selecting, processing, documenting, and transporting archival collections.

    Your Role Accountabilities

    • Responsible for the appraisal, selection, and description of archival collections. Supervise Archival Representatives, and other support staff and interns as assigned, to ensure they perform their duties appropriately. Provide training and coaching as needed.

    • Liaise with Producers, Production Department HOD's and Coordinators to ensure Archive staff have the access necessary to select assets and arrange transfer to and from the Archive. Support and service Production requests for research, reuse, and repurposing.

    • Partner with Warehouse staff to ensure asset movement is seamless, and workspaces are in place to support the transfer of assets to and from Archives.

    • Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and accepted workflows. Ensure assets are processed correctly and any weeding is communicated effectively to the Warehouse Supervisor to move non-selected assets through proper disposition workflows.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Min 5 years' experience in Archives and Entertainment required

    • Previous experience working with inventory systems (Asset Hub highly preferred)

    • Previous experience with project management software (Asana highly preferred)

    • Previous experience dealing directly with customers/customer service

    • Experience working with all levels of corporate and production hierarchy

    • MLIS/Archive Administration preferred or equivalent work experience

    • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills

    • Candidate must possess excellent customer service skills

    • Must be able to work independently

    • Must be able to work collaboratively

    • Should have excellent research skills

    • Must be able to lift boxes or materials 25+ lbs. when necessary, working in an industrial/warehouse environment.

    • Must be flexible

    • Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, One Note)

    In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $58,800.00 - $109,199.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
